How to Make Printable Copies of PDF Files

PDF or Portable Document Format files provide you with the flexibility of being able to access specific files regardless of the operating system and computer you are using. To make printable copies of PDF documents you will need to have a PDF reading software. PDF viewing software like Adobe reader 9 gives you the option to print multiple PDF copies.

Download and install a PDF reading software. Adobe Reader is the primary PDF reading software. You can also download Foxit reader or PDF Xchange viewer.

Click on the file that you would like to have printed and copied. The file must be in PDF format in order for it to open in a PDF reading software.

Click on "File" and then "Print." You can also click on the printer icon located near the top left of the screen of the software or you can press "Control-P." to access the print menu. The print menu should open.

Click the arrow facing up under "Page handling" to increase the number of copies that you would like to print or type in the number of copies you want. If you have specific pages that you would like to print or a range of pages, you can configure those options under the print range menu. Click "Okay" and your print job will execute.
