Limewire is a peer-to-peer file sharing program that allows you to download multimedia from the Internet. You can download music or video using Limewire and transfer them to your iPod Nano.

Open LimeWire. Search for the music file you want to add to your iPod Nano and download the music file.

Open iTunes and click "File," then "Add to Library" and locate the music file on your hard drive. This will often be saved in your "Downloads" folder.

Connect the Nano to your computer using its included USB cable.

Select the songs you want to transfer by dragging the music file from the library to the iPod icon.

Wait for the file(s) to transfer and "Eject" your iPod by clicking the eject symbol next to your iPod's name in the left panel.
