The default media player on most computer systems is the Windows Media Player. This programs allows you to view video and listen to audio media files. If you want to audio or video directly onto a CD or DVD you may want to add this feature to the program. Thankfully, it is already part of the latest release of Windows Media Player, so all that is required is for you to download the latest media player version.
Difficulty: Moderately EasyInstructions1Open the Internet browser and navigate to the Windows Media Player download page (link provided in "Resources").
2Click the download link next to the operating system you have installed on the computer. The program momentarily begins to download to your computer.
3Double-click the downloaded file (located either on the desktop or in a "Downloads" pop-up window). This loads the Windows Media Player installation wizard.
4Read through and accept the end-user license agreement (you are unable to install the programming if you don't accept this option), then leave the installation settings as-is and click "Install" to install the Windows Media Player with burning software included.
