Generally, all versions of Microsoft Windows will enable Kerberos by default as your primary authentication service. Unfortunately, you may experience a situation where that does not occur. You will promptly have to modify Kerberos to serve as your primary authentication in order to ensure smooth and safe operation of your computer. Luckily, the process for modifying Kerberos should pose no significant challenge to any basic computer user.
Difficulty: Moderately EasyInstructions1Go to your "Start" menu. Click "Programs." Click "Administrative Tools." Select "Active Directory Users and Computers."
2Locate your server under "Computers Organization Unit" and select it with a right click. Open "General" and hit "Trust computer for delegation." Hit "Apply" to save your changes.
3Go to "Start." Click "Run." Type "cmd" and hit "Enter." Enter "ping fqdn." You have modified Kerberos succesfully to serve as your primary authentication.
