Antivirus Trigger is a spyware program that generates misleading system alerts on an infected computer. The alerts show scan results of your hard drive, with many viruses allegedly found. The messages urge you to pay for the full version of Antivirus Trigger and get rid of the found threats. Antivirus Trigger is not a legitimate anti-virus program, however, and the messages it generates are fake. This is just a scam targeted at inexperienced users. Remove Antivirus Trigger immediately upon detection.

Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to start the Task Manager.
2Click the "Processes" tab in the Task Manager's window.
3Select "AntivirusTrigger.exe" from the list of processes and click "End Process."
4Repeat Step 3 for "AnvTrgr.exe" and "AntivirusTriggerBin.exe."
5Close the Task Manager.
Remove Registry Entry1
Go to the "Start" menu, type "Regedit" in the Start Search box and press "Enter" to start the Registry Editor.
2Browse to and delete the following registry entry:HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun "Antivirus Trigger"
3Close the Registry Editor.
Find and Delete Files1
Go to the "Start" menu, type "AntivirusTrigger.exe" in the Start Search box and press "Enter." Delete all search results.
2Repeat Step 1 for "AnvTrgr.exe," "AntivirusTrigger.url," "AntivirusTrigger.lnk," "AntivirusTriggerBin.exe" and "AntivirusTriggerBinWarning.dll."
3Restart your computer.
