How to Align Text in Photoshop CS3

Adobe Photoshop is known as a powerful graphics application that allows you to edit and create digital images. There are times when you might need to add text to your image, such as when you create a poster or a website design. With Photoshop, it is possible to format the text in your document like you can with word processing software. Format the text to create the perfect look and feel for your document.

Select the layer in the Layers palette that contains the text you want to align. Selecting the layer allows you to align every paragraph in the layer. To align only specific paragraphs, highlight the text with your mouse.

Open the Paragraph palette by clicking the "Window" menu at the top of the application and then selecting "Paragraph."

Select an alignment option from the Paragraph palette, such as "Left Align Text."
